  • Capital Improvement Plan
The City of Cheyenne’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a long-range investment program designed to meet the needs of our growing community. It serves as a roadmap that provides direction and guidance for the City on carefully planning and managing the City’s capital and infrastructure assets. Examples of projects in Cheyenne’s CIP include street improvements, park improvements, land acquisition, equipment replacement, and greenway construction to name a few. Although funds are limited and the City does not currently have enough money available to do all of the proposed projects, the CIP serves to inform residents, businesses and the City management team of the needs that are not currently being met. That being said, it is important to understand that the CIP is not a commitment to fund the projects listed, but it is to show what the priorities and costs are at a given point in time.

We want you to be actively involved as we work together to create Cheyenne’s future. To read the current draft of the CIP, click here. For more information, contact Jim Flesher at jflesher@cheyennecity.org/ (307) 637-6286.
