I would bike and walk along Pershing more if the speed limit were reduced and the cars weren't rushing by so fast. I think adding a pedestrian buffer area would be nice. Right now the sidewalk is right next to the road. I try to avoid Pershing on my bike because of the higher speed limit and no existing bike lane.
